🎯 Why this course?

I try to make my online classes as immersive and interactive as possible. In the course, we will use my personal custom-made material (slides, videos, and exercises) and follow the structure of the Lithuanian student book Sėkmės (which you can either purchase online or in a local bookstore). Every class is designed for active participation. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to speak, ask questions, and sharpen your pronunciation. You’ll also practice active listening and learn to balance accuracy with flow.

The content of our meetings will be tailored to your circumstances and needs, while the student book and my custom materials will serve as a reference, providing structure and exercises for further practice. Over the 26 sessions, you can expect to cover a substantial part of the Lithuanian language basics (vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation), make new friends, and build a solid foundation for your Lithuanian journey ahead.

If you miss a class, don’t worry! After each session, you’ll receive a summary email with notes, suggested homework, and a video recording of the lesson so you can catch up at your own speed.

📚 What will we cover?

• Lithuanian language fundamentals (grammar, pronunciation, syntax)

• Ways the Lithuanian language works and how it may differ from your native language.

• How to structure your goals, avoid pitfalls, and maintain your motivation throughout your Lithuanian journey.

• Basic conversation in the most common scenarios (chit-chat in shops, cafes, the workplace, and other short conversations)

• Ways to understand others and how to be understood with minimal knowledge and skills.

🌍 What makes the language unique?

Lithuanian is one of the most archaic living languages in Europe, preserving many features of the Proto-Indo-European language and of high interest for scholars and lay people alike. Its rich system of seven grammatical cases allows for flexible sentence construction, and its sounds and pronunciation give it a musical, distinctive rhythm. Despite being small in terms of speakers, Lithuanian has a vibrant cultural and literary history. It is also one of only two surviving Baltic languages, alongside Latvian.

• Deposit: €100 (due at registration, to reserve your place in the group)

• Remaining Balance: Due by January 19, 2026.

• Payment Method: Bank transfer or Revolut (details will be sent to you after registration).

❗Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Before the Course Starts: A full refund is available at any time.

2. First Week of the Course: If you decide the course isn’t right for you, you can cancel and receive the full refund, minus the cost of any classes you have already attended.

3. After the First Week: No further refunds are possible.

4. Payment Deadline: The remaining course fee (€250) must be paid by the 3rd meeting.

5. Missed Classes: If you miss a lesson, don't worry. After each session, you’ll receive a summary email with notes, suggested homework, and a video recording of the lesson.

6. Late Payments: May result in removal unless previously arranged.
